This is the most sought-after of all insecticide/poison tins and is RARE, RARE, RARE !! This American tin was manufactured in the early 20th century. This metal square tin is 1 7/8" x 1 7/8" x 2 3/8" tall and is a brilliant yellow and black color. " DEATH DUST " was manufactured by the " A. C. MEYER & CO. of BALTIMORE, MD ." The front panel contains a skull blowing a " death dust cloud " on a hoard of insects, all of which have died. The trade name "Death Dust" is made out of bone lettering --fantastic! One side contains the directions for use, another states the insects it was intended to kill, and the remaining sides tell of the product's virtues.
