Hardy Brothers Makers (Hardy's) Alnwick Pat. "Perfect Reel" 2 1/2" Brass Face Wide Drum Reel Extremly Rare
Extremely rare Hardy Brass Faced Perfect Wide Drum in the smallest size made 2 1/2" diameter. Brass face with all three Hardy logos, original white handle, brass bridged rim tension regulator, straight 67mm foot, four cusps to spool, and early 1896 check mechanism. A few line grooves to one pillar. Turns without any lumps or bumps, no play or drum rock. A super-fine rare reel, circa 1900.
